I had hired, and fired, two other painting companies before my contractor asked me to meet with Jody (owner of Finglas Painting). In my job I deal with fabrics and colors all day so I knew what I wanted. Even when I was being ludicrous (giving Jody leather swatches from a pair of shoes I designed), he never flinched. He got the color and figured out that if we buffed the walls out with Butchers Wax he could make it look like leather! I now have a dining room that matches my shoes!

Finglas Painting came to our attention when we chose to bring up a designer from New York City. She was familiar with a particular line of High Gloss Oil products made by a company called Fine Paints of Europe that we fell in love with. Finglas Painting is one of a very select group of companies certified and trained by FPE at their facility in Vermont. The finishes they applied in our home in Westchester County were nothing short of amazing. I really can’t say enough about this company. Do yourself a favor, if you’re looking for high end quality work you have to hire these guys.
